Fuck yeah british army

a blog to support the troops in the British Army. I know I can't raise money by simply opening a Tumblr blog but by reblogging pictures I hope to get the faces of the troops fighting for this country, and for the hopes of other countries, spread across as many blogs as I can. I'm not saying I don't support the Navy, or the Marines, or the RAF, I do, a 100%, it's just I thought of opening an Army blog instead. None of the pictures are mine unless otherwise stated. I do not claim copyright for the photographs nor do I make a profit.

Thank you. I thought more people should appreciate our forces.

For my project on Afghanistan, I drew out all the faces of the 439 British fallen in Afghanistan.
This was to draw attention to the fact that although all these amazing people have died, if we pull out in 2014, it will have been in vain. The British Army needs to finish its work out in Afghanistan.

13th Air Assault Support Regiment soldier Alan Russell, 24, from Edinburgh on duty on Land Rovers vehicles.

Shouldn’t the union flag be bigger than the Scottish flag? I have never noticed the regional country flags being that big, is it personal preference or something?

Yeah, I’d say it’s his own insignia.
